The Victorian Off Road Racing Association Inc. (VORRA) is a prominent sports club in Melbourne that specialises in off-road racing. VORRA conducts its own Club Championship each year, which consists of several rounds held at various tracks throughout the state. The club events typically take place on shorter tracks ranging from 2 to 10 kilometres per lap. On the other hand, the state and national events span over two days, with lap distances varying from 25 to 100 kilometres. These races can total anywhere between 200 to 500 kilometres, making them thrilling and demanding for the participants.
These events often involve weekend getaways, allowing families and friends to bond and enjoy a camping experience while witnessing the exhilarating races.
Membership in VORRA opens up opportunities to participate in club, state, and national events. The club is dual-affiliated with both Motorsport Australia and AORRA, providing members with the chance to purchase suitable racing licences to compete in their chosen events. Memberships are available for 1 or 3 years, allowing individuals to engage in the world of off-road racing on a long-term basis.
The diverse range of vehicles involved in off-road racing includes off-road buggies, production 2WD and 4WD (performance and extreme), and SXS.
