Powerlifting SA is a competitive sporting club in Adelaide, South Australia. It is the South Australian Drug Free Powerlifting Association (SADFPA), and its primary focus is on natural ability and fair competition in a drug-free environment. The club strictly adheres to the Australian Sports Anti-doping Authority guidelines and believes that all sports should be dependent solely on an athlete's natural talent, determination, courage, and honesty.
Powerlifting SA organises four competitions each year in South Australia, competing at both state and national levels. The club welcomes men and women aged 14 and above to participate in their events and training sessions. In 2007, the club relocated from Adelaide to Barmera in the Riverland of South Australia. However, as of 2014, their new competition venue is the Cobdogla District Club in Rowe Street, Cobdogla.
Visitors and spectators are always encouraged to attend Powerlifting SA's events and training sessions. The club aims to promote strength, determination, and personal growth among its members. They believe in pushing boundaries and helping individuals master their impossible.
Membership is open to individuals of all genders and ages, starting from 14 years old. The current annual membership fee is $85 for senior members and $50 for juniors and concession members. All SADFPA members are welcome to attend committee meetings, but voting rights on the SADFPA Committee are reserved for committee members. New members must participate in one competition before being eligible to set state records, and they may be required to undergo a drug test.
Powerlifting SA follows the rules and regulations of Drug Free Powerlifting and proudly maintains a drug-free environment. The club provides resources such as the IOC banned substances list and recommends visiting the ASDA website for further information.

In terms of competitions, Powerlifting SA has the upcoming “The Don Juers Classic” event at the Cobdogla Club in Cobdogla, South Australia. Weigh-ins for this event start at 10 a. m. And the competition begins at 12 noon.
Spectators can attend the event free of charge. The club typically organises competitions in February, May, August, and November, providing opportunities for lifters to showcase their abilities throughout the year.
