Yes. Paeroa Swim School offers infants and toddlers classes for babies and children from 3 months to 3 years.
Classes are available for babies, school children and adults, including infants/toddlers, preschool (3 to 5 years) and school-age (5 years and above).
Lessons are based at Goldfields School in Paeroa with an indoor heated pool. There are also sessions at Paeroa Town Pool during Terms 4 and 1.
All lessons are run outside of school hours, including Saturday mornings, with classes available Monday to Friday during 3pm to 6pm.
Levels are designed for learners to build water confidence, water safety techniques and stroke technique, and children work through levels at their own pace.
Lessons are delivered as group sessions with mixed ability levels, with teachers aiming the activities at the level each child is currently swimming.
Yes. Each child is assessed on what they are achieving before and after their swimming lessons so you can see measurable outcomes.
No. Teachers can teach from babies all the way up to pre competition level, so there are pathways for different stages of learning.
