The National Parks Association (NPA) is a sports club in Sydney that focuses on bushwalking and outdoor activities. With a diverse range of programmes and activities, the NPA offers something for everyone, from short urban walks to overnight wilderness experiences. Members have the opportunity to explore NSW and discover its incredible natural places alongside like-minded individuals from all over the state.
What sets the NPA apart is its commitment to the conservation of natural areas. As one of the largest bushwalking programmes in Australia, the NPA offers over 1,000 guided bushwalks each year. In addition to bushwalking, members can also take part in a variety of outdoor activities such as kayaking, canyoning, and multi-day camping trips. For those new to bushwalking, the NPA provides comprehensive training tools and a handbook to help beginners thrive in the wild.
The NPA is passionate about connecting individuals with nature and fostering a love for the outdoors. Through their webinars and events, they strive to educate and empower individuals to appreciate and protect the natural environment.
