Wakefield Football Club has been running since 1983, offering social, community-focused football for people in Wakefield, Brightwater and nearby areas, plus like-minded players from across the district. With multiple teams across several divisions, it suits juniors and seniors with different levels of experience. The club also runs summer football for mixed teams. Training is normally from 6pm on Tuesday evenings at Wakefield Recreation Reserve, with full-sized pitches, floodlights, hot showers and a licensed bar for members.
