2024 Canterbury Champs

Welcome to the 2024 Canterbury Champs, an archery event that promises a weekend filled with excitement, camaraderie, and the thrilling sound of arrows hitting targets. The Canterbury Archers' Society Inc invites archery enthusiasts from all levels to join in on this fun-filled event.

If you're looking for a unique and immersive experience, you can choose to camp at the Farm Park, where the event is taking place. Tent camping options are available, and you can find all the necessary information in the Info Pack provided. Just remember, if you plan to arrive on Friday night, make sure to pre-book as there won't be anyone available to assist you upon your arrival.

To secure your spot in the Canterbury Champs, a small entry fee of $8.97 is required. Make sure to submit your entry form and take a careful look at the comprehensive Info Pack on our registration and landing page. Payment can be made through internet banking or in cash. If you decide the internet banking option, please use the provided account details and don't forget to notify the treasurer via email at treasurer@canterburyarchers.co.nz once the payment is made.

The Canterbury Champs offer a variety of divisions, catering to different bows and archery styles. Participants can compete in divisions such as Longbow Open, Longbow Traditional, Recurve, Compound Open, Compound Sighted, and Master of Bows. Keep in mind that each division has certain age requirements, so make sure to decide the one that suits you best. This event truly caters to archers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

For those who wish to make the most of the weekend, we offer tent camping options onsite. For a reasonable cost of $15 per person per night, you can pitch your tent on Friday night, Saturday night, or both.
