Judo Australia is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 Mandurah Cadets and Juniors Oceania Cup, an exciting event set to take place at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Western Australia. This prestigious international competition provides a fantastic opportunity for young judoka to showcase their skills and earn IJF global ranking points. Australian participants can also vie for valuable National Ranking Points to boost their chances of future international event selections.
Registration for the tournament is now open through the national judo body, with a registration fee of $100 (AUD) per division. Cadets can even choose to step up and compete in the juniors category for a more challenging experience. It's important to note that Senior Boys and Senior Girls players are not eligible to participate in this tournament.
Get ready for weigh-ins on May 4, followed by the main competition on Sunday, May 5. After the event, SouthWest Judo will be hosting a three-day training camp in Port Kennedy, a short drive from Mandurah.
