Tyers and have reached the level of 3rd Dan black belt. The club is a proud member of the Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association (TISKA), training in the Traditional Shotokan Karate style.

The Mansfield branch of the 3 Counties Shotokan Karate Club is located at The Joseph Whitaker School in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire. Sensei Tyers accepts students of all levels, from beginners to black belts. The club offers classes for both beginners and intermediate grades.
