500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Cammeray Yoga's 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training course is now accepting applications and enrolments for interested individuals. The course, which starts on March 8, 2024, offers a comprehensive curriculum based on the classical traditions of T Krishnamacharya & TKV Desikachar. It is registered with Yoga Australia and includes 20 training days throughout the year, 9 live webinars, supervised practicum, and mentoring.

Participants in the course will delve into various aspects of yoga such as history, philosophy, ethics, anatomy, physiology, and more. They will also learn teaching methodologies, techniques, and integrated practice to develop and teach fully integrated yoga practices for groups and individuals. This training will not only equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge but will also build their confidence in the field of yoga instruction. Additionally, the course lays the groundwork for further post-graduate training in Yoga Therapy.

The Yoga Institute offers a blend of classroom learning, online learning, and experiential/self-directed learning to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
