5U Blastball Age 5U is a fantastic opportunity for young children to learn the basics of baseball while having a blast out on the field. The emphasis is on fun and skill development, with kids learning to hit, throw, run, field, and catch in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Parents play a key role in assisting on the field and supporting the coach during practices, helping to create a positive experience for all involved.
The season for 5U Blastball runs from mid-April to mid-June, with teams getting together once a week on Saturdays at Allenby. Each child will receive a team t-shirt and a Carnarvon Ball Club hat to wear during games, along with needing a batting helmet, glove, and athletic support – all clearly marked with their name. The league is organized and run by dedicated volunteers who are committed to providing top-notch coaching and ensuring a fun and rewarding experience for the kids.
Teams will be made up of a mix of ages and genders, with efforts made to accommodate any friend or coach requests. The season starts off with a pre-season park clean-up day, where the community comes together to get everything ready for an amazing season of baseball.
