ACT Race and Fitness Walking club ( ACT Walkers ) promotes walking ( racewalking, powerwalking and fitness walking ) for sport, health, and fitness in the Canberra region. Fitness walkers, power walkers and race walkers of all abilities are welcome.
We have two main seasons, they are winter that is held at various venues around Canberra on a Saturday afternoon and we also have a summer season with track walks being held at the AIS Stadium every Thursday evening.
We have walkers of all ages from five to eighty-five plus and walkers of all abilities.
