

Founded in 1998, The Across the Waves Netball Club thrives today with over 140 members. This includes players of all ages, coaches, umpires & committee members.
Across the Waves Netball Club consists of teams from Division 10 through to Division 1, including a Ladies Division.
Amelianne Wells, former QLD Firebird player, credits her passion for netball back to Across the Waves Netball Club, were it all started for her. It was here at Waves that Amelianne started as a junior netballer in the junior development programme & progressed through the ranks to play Division 1, under the guidance & mentoring of Coach Sandy Baker. Amelianne debuted with the Silver Ferns in 2014 and is now a current team member of New Zealand’s Central Pulse, competing in the Trans Tasman Netball Championships.
The 2015 Bundaberg Netball season see’s competition move from the Daph Geddes Netball Courts to the newly constructed Netball facilities at the Bundaberg Super Park. The new location in Enid Ethel Drive provides Bundaberg Netball Association with flood free facilities & future support & growth for Bundaberg Netball.
The 2015 season kicks of at the end of March with a full day of grading games. After Easter, 15 weeks of fixtures start, then preliminary & semi-finals and the grand finals to be played on Saturday the 12th September, with presentations to follow.
Across the Waves netball club prides itself on acceptance of all levels of ability & integration of all ages. Our senior players are involved in the development of our junior’s, playing with & working along side our highly qualified coaches & assistants.
Across the Waves netball are lucky enough to have 2 training courts. Team’s train every week day at the Across the Waves Sports Complex in Thabean Street. Junior skills sessions are offered every week to those wanting to improve their skills on top of there normal team training.
Across the Waves Netball are once again very proud to have so many of our junior & senior players gain selection in this year’s Bundaberg representative teams. These teams will travel & compete in the Rocky carnival in May, the State Age carnival in June & Challenge Carnival in July.
