At our club, we follow the teachings of our esteemed founder and president, Shuji Maruyama Sensei. Maruyama Sensei developed four principles that guide the practise of Kokikai Aikido: keeping one's point to develop calmness, progressing relaxation, finding correct posture in everything, and cultivating a positive mind.
Our Chief Instructor, James Moss, is a highly experienced practitioner of Aikido Kokikai. He has dedicated years to mastering this martial art and regularly attends camps and seminars with Maruyama Sensei and Kokikai instructors from all over Australia and Japan. James Sensei provides a safe, friendly, and relaxed training environment where students can unlock their full potential in the study of Aikido.
