Airlie Beach Swim School is an award-winning sports club located in the Whitsundays, specifically in Airlie Beach - Cannonvale. Our swim school is dedicated to teaching individuals of all ages the lifelong skill of swimming and water safety. Our mission is to provide a safe and interactive environment where students can learn and enjoy their swimming lessons.

For babies, we offer rewarding and unique Mum (or Dad) and Bub classes, providing a great start to their swimming journey. As babies grow into toddlers, they will transition to one-on-one lessons that are tailored to their swimming ability and separation anxiety level.

Our junior programme focuses on ensuring a smooth transition from our learn to swim programme to developing confident swimmers who can confidently perform all four swimming strokes.

We also offer private adult swimming lessons for those who have never learned how to swim or want to improve their swimming skills. These lessons are personalised to meet each individual's needs and physical abilities.

At Airlie Beach Swim School, we have a team of highly qualified instructors who are passionate about teaching swimming. Our instructors include Danielle Shea, the Director and Founder of the swim school, who is committed to providing quality swim coaching in the Whitsundays. Rianna Read, the youngest instructor, has her own unique coaching style that kids love. Lynda Shea-Davis is a qualified Physical Education Teacher and Swim Australia qualified Teacher, and she holds a Bronze Coaching Licence.

Lynda Wendt is an experienced instructor who is known for her dynamic coaching style and passion for fun coaching. Loretta Shand, another passionate swim instructor, loves teaching children this important life skill and ensuring they enjoy the water.
