About
We are a small volunteer organisation located on the Fleurieu Peninsula South Australia approximately 50 kms south of the state capital Adelaide. We provide rescue services to our stretch of coastline and provide regular patrols on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays as well as emergency out of hours callouts. Furthermore, we also compete in State, National, and International Lifesaving competitions and train members from the age of 7 to 70. Aldinga Bay Surf Lifesaving Club is affiliated with Surf Lifesaving Australia and its State branch here in South Australia and so follows its motto of “Vigilance and Service”.
Surf Lifesaving in Australia turned 100 years old a couple of years ago and its influence has spread around the world.
