Our top men’s and women’s sides compete in the esteemed Victorian top League, which is considered the best competition in Victoria.

For instance, we celebrated our inaugural AHC Indigenous Round, which acknowledges and embraces the Indigenous culture. We also introduced a new playing uniform that represents our commitment to modernity and inclusivity, while still honouring our traditional colours, royal blue and gold.

In addition to our on-field achievements, we also focus on the development and growth of our players. We are thrilled to announce that Danielle Schubach will be coaching our Women’s premier League side for the 2023 season, with Stephanie Young as Assistant Coach. We also have ongoing projects, such as the member pathways initiative, which aims to encourage and support our members' participation in various aspects of our sport.

Altona Hockey Club also takes pride in acknowledging the accomplishments of our players. Andrew Scanlon recently achieved a significant milestone, scoring his 100th premier League goal, becoming the fourth player in our club's history to do so. We celebrate these achievements as they contribute to the rich history and success of our club.
