Armidale Sport and Recreation Centre is a sports club located in Armidale Dumaresq Council. With our state-of-the-art facilities and wide range of activities, we aim to provide a fun and exciting experience for people of all ages.
At Armidale Sport and Rec, we offer a variety of indoor activities that are perfect for individuals, families, and groups. Our facility features ten pin bowling, skating, and indoor sports. Whether you’re looking for a casual game with friends or want to join a league for some friendly competition, we have something for everyone.
Our bowling lanes are equipped with the latest Kegel String Pinsetters, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted gaming experience. We offer social games for families as well as four bowling leagues for those who enjoy a more competitive atmosphere. We also have special pricing for junior and student bowlers, as well as discounts for members.
For skating enthusiasts, we have supervised and unsupervised skating sessions throughout the week. On Friday nights, Saturday afternoons, and Sunday afternoons, we offer supervised sessions where you can enjoy rolling around our skate rink. We also have special sessions such as in-line hockey, roller derby, and themed nights hosted by local skating groups. Outside these supervised sessions, you are welcome to enjoy unsupervised skating at any time.
Additionally, Armidale Sport and Rec is the perfect venue for hosting kids' parties, birthdays, end-of-year parties, and other group events. Our Ten pin and pizza package is a popular choice for children's parties in Armidale. You also have the option to book out the entire complex for a private event.
At Armidale Sport and Rec, we pride ourselves on meeting the recreational and party needs of our customers. We are open on Tuesdays from 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 8 pm, Fridays from 10 am to 9 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. Kidsworld, our dedicated area for children, closes at 5 pm from Tuesday to Saturday and at 4 pm on Sundays. Please note that anyone under 14 years old must be supervised by an adult who is at least 18 years old.
