Asquith Magpies Fishing Club

The fishing club has a long history as a Sub Club of the Asquith Rugby League Club, Waitara dating back over 30 years.

From the early days of Fred Bingham, Mick Fahy and the lads the club has seen the highs and lows of membership and fishing activity.

Today the Asquith Magpies Fishing Club has renewed vigour and vitality. Things are really happening.

A new, energised committee lead by Mark Bulluss as President is delivering a wonderful variety of fishing trip that caters to all our various members fishing interests.

We operate as a non-profit social fishing club that welcomes newcomers from beginners to experienced Anglers. We promote safe recreational fishing in a fun and social environment as we have done for over 30years.

Furthermore, we embrace a culture of sharing fishing knowledge to enhance the enjoyment and improve the angling skills of our members.
