Australian Community Badminton Association

The Australian Community Badminton Association (ACBA) was formed in early 2011 to develop and raise the profile of badminton throughout Australia. Our vision is to broaden awareness of badminton across all communities groups in Australia to promote wider participation of this Olympic Sport.

ACBA is a not-for-profit organisation sponsored by Badminton Australia under the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Programme, which is an initiative of the Australian Sports Commission to promote diversity in all sports. The objective of the CALD programme is to effectively engage existing and emerging communities, aiming to target those across culturally diverse backgrounds.
