Badger's Martial Arts, located in Mornington and Mt Martha, is led by Hanshi Nigel Kendall, a highly experienced 9th Degree Black belt with over 40 years of teaching and martial arts experience. Hanshi Nigel has trained many successful students and is a respected figure in the martial arts community. He offers a wide range of classes to cater to everyone, including children, women, and individuals with special needs.

One of the main martial arts styles offered at Badger's Martial Arts is Zen Do Kai. Zen Do Kai is a modern martial art that combines the techniques of Muay Thai with other skills such as ground fighting, locks, holds, throws, self-defence techniques, weaponry, pressure point strikes, and meditation. Classes focus on providing a safe environment for students to learn and understand techniques in great detail.

Another style taught at Badger's Martial Arts is Krav Maga, a highly effective and practical self-defence system. Based on Israeli Military training, Krav Maga teaches simple yet effective defence tactics that can be easily implemented. Students will learn how to defend against various types of attacks, including grabs, strikes, knives, batons, firearms, and multiple attackers. Each class is designed to leave students feeling confident and better equipped to handle real-life situations.

Badger's Martial Arts also offers a Kidz Karate class, which aims to develop a healthy attitude towards self and sports in children. Kyoshi Nigel Kendall focuses on teaching basic martial arts training and self-defence skills, improving children's motor skills, socialisation, cooperation, and self-discipline in a safe and supportive environment.
