From humble beginnings with a tent serving as the clubhouse, the club has grown to have over 300 registered bowlers and a strong membership base.
The club boasts top-notch facilities, including high-tech hard covers and brand new carpet greens that were recently opened for play. These state-of-the-art features enhance the bowling experience and provide bowlers with an enjoyable and professional environment to play in.
Whether you're a seasoned bowler or new to the sport, Bargara Bowls & Sports Club welcomes all registered bowlers to join in for a game of bowls. The club's online calendar provides information about game formats and times, ensuring that members can easily plan their visits.
When it comes to dress code, the club maintains certain standards. For social bowls, participants are expected to wear creams/whites, club colours, or neat and tidy mufti attire. This ensures a respectful and professional atmosphere for all players.

Unless otherwise stated in the bowls calendar, nomination for social bowls is required by 12:00 noon on the day of play. Green fees should be paid by 12:30 pm, and all players must be in the clubhouse by 12:45 pm for announcements and the calling of the cards.

Additionally, Ashley Powell and Suzanne Kington emerged victorious in the District Mixed Pairs Final.
