Of our rich history.
Bayswater Football Club, located at Upper Hillcrest Reserve in Bayswater, Western Australia, is one of the oldest sporting clubs in the state. Founded in 1946 by ex-servicemen returning from the Second World War, the club has a proud heritage that we cherish.
The history of our club is highlighted by one of our prominent life members, C. J. Jamieson, who is the namesake behind the PFL's A Grade Best and Fairest Award presented annually. Jamieson started his football journey at Bayswater FC and continued to be involved in various committee and coaching roles before embarking on a career in state politics.
In 2018, we were excited to introduce a women's side to our club, becoming one of the first clubs in the PFL to do so. The women's team has proved to be an integral part of our club, making significant contributions both on and off the field.
At Bayswater Football Club, we are a united community, bringing together four teams as one proud club, known as the Baysie Blues. Our strong connexion to our past is evident in our close ties with our past player alumni. We encourage anyone associated with our club to visit our Past Players Facebook page, known as the Bayswater Football Past Players Club.
As we enter our 77th season, we continue to embrace our rich history. We invite you to immerse yourself in our club, both on and off the field, and share in the stories and highlights that have shaped our club's identity.
