

Bothwell Gun Club is a sports club located in the Central Highlands Council region of Tasmania. As a member of the Tasmanian Clay Target Association (TCTA), the club is dedicated to promoting and developing clay target shooting in the state.
At Bothwell Gun Club, members have the opportunity to engage in various disciplines of clay target shooting, including Trap, Skeet, Ball Trap, and OD Skeet. With 9 active Clay Target Clubs in Tasmania, the club is proud to be a part of a thriving shooting community.
The club has a rich history, originally established in 1981, and has since hosted numerous successful national competitions. Notable events include the Commonwealth Championships in October 2007 and May 2018. Bothwell Gun Club has a strong affiliation with the Tasmanian Gun Club, which serves as the annual host for the trap carnival.
The TCTA management committee is dedicated to providing transparent and regular communication to its members. Emails and Facebook are utilised for this purpose, in addition to the traditional use of club secretaries and delegates. Members are encouraged to check their junk/spam folders for important club updates and ensure their email addresses are up-to-date in the ACTA database.
Under the leadership of the club president, Danny Belbin, and secretary, Danny Belbin, Bothwell Gun Club aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for shooters of all experience levels. The club delegates, Nanette McCallum, Lester McCallum, and Kiara-Lee Gough, work tirelessly to represent the interests of the club and its members at TCTA meetings.
