Welcome to the Brighton Lacrosse Club, a strong and family-friendly sports club located in the Brighton Sporting precinct in Hove, Adelaide. Established in 1929, we are one of the oldest and most respected lacrosse clubs in Australia. Our club is known as the Brighton Bombers, and we are proud to play on the traditional Country of the Kaurna people, acknowledging and respecting their Elders past and present.
At Brighton Lacrosse Club, we offer lacrosse programmes for players of all ages and skill levels. We have 15 junior teams for boys and girls, as well as 6 senior teams for men and women. We are always excited to welcome new players and families to our club, making it a truly inclusive and welcoming community.
In addition to our lacrosse teams, we also offer club facilities for hire. Whether you are planning a social gathering or a corporate event, our club can be the perfect venue for your needs. We offer competitive prices and guarantee a fantastic time for all attendees.
Lacrosse is the fastest game on two feet. It has a rich history, with origins traced back to the Indigenous Tribes of North America in 1100 AD. In Australia, lacrosse was first played in 1876 in Victoria, and it arrived in South Australia in 1883 with the formation of the Adelaide Lacrosse Club. Lacrosse has appeared in the Olympic Games and World Lacrosse is actively working towards its inclusion in future games.
