Are you the owner of Broome Little Athletics Centre?
Welcome to Broome Little Athletics Centre 2016 season, where children up to 12 years of age participate in fun athletics events on a weekly basis from June to September.
Events: Each Tuesday night, your child will participate in 3 events – these will be a combination of runs, jumps and throws. Over the season, all under 6’s, 7’s and 8’s will get to do long jump, shot put, discus, vortex throw, 60m hurdles, sprints (70m, 100m and 200m) and middle distance (400m and 800m). Woo-hoo!
Under 9’s and 10s also get to do high jump and triple jump, and under 11’s and 12’s also get to do javelin. We are also introducing race walking for the under 9's and older. Yee-ha!
