Bujinkan ninjutsu is an effective combat-oriented martial art, rich in history and tradition. Originating in Japan, Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi created the Bujinkan organisation to teach them in a combined fashion. It is derived from nine martial arts schools (or ryu-ha) that have existed for centuries. The nine schools are unified by a particular approach and attitude, or 'feeling' as Hatsumi Sensei would say.
For more information on the nine schools, see the ryu-ha page.
Training in Budo Taijutsu involves learning basic and advanced techniques in striking, grappling, and ground fighting. This art also incorporates weapons training, Ukemi which teaches injury prevention and much more.
The dojo holds lessons on Monday and Wednesday evenings, we welcome new students at any time. The dojo's timetable and pricing can be viewed at the class structure page.
