Charlton Harness Racing Club

The Charlton Harness Racing Club, established in 1948, is a sports club located in Buloke Shire, Victoria. The club is excited to announce a new era of harness racing and invites everyone to join in the fun and excitement at Charlton Park. The club is deeply rooted in history and has been a staple in the local community for over 70 years.

Racing is the main attraction at Charlton Harness Racing Club, and they offer a range of thrilling events for both punters and racing enthusiasts to enjoy. One of the highlights is the Punters Club, run by Darren Carroll, where participants can purchase a ticket for $20 and have the chance to win big. The Community Bank Charlton and District Pacing Cup and the North West Ag Trotters Cup are also highly anticipated races.

In addition to the racing action, the club offers various entertainment options to keep attendees entertained throughout the day. Live music by Wilbur Wilde and the Troublemakers adds a vibrant atmosphere to the event, and there's also a special ladies' event called “Bubbles In The Bush” that features music, fun, prizes, and special guests. The club is also proud to support the Team Teal Fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer.

Fashions on the Field is another exciting aspect of the day, with a chance to win a generous $1000 prize for the Racegoer of the Day. There will be a bookie on the course for those looking to place bets, and plenty of opportunities for kids to meet the hero horses.

The Charlton Harness Racing Club also hosts a special event called Travellers' Day for those travelling along the Calder Highway. This fun-filled day includes food, drinks, racing, and entertainment in the club's modern complex at Charlton Park.
