Cabarita Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Cabarita Beach Surf Life Saving Club, located in Tweed Heads, is a dedicated sports club committed to the health, safety, and well-being of all its members. Established in 1961 with just 30 initial members operating out of a shed at the back of the Cabarita Beach Hotel, the club has since grown to nearly 650 members in the 2022-2023 season. The membership includes a diverse range of individuals, including Active Members, General Active Helping Members, Junior Members, and Associate Members. As an affiliated organisation with Surf Life Saving Australia, Cabarita Beach SLSC aims to provide voluntary lifesaving services to the beaches in the area and actively engage in preventing drowning and injuries.

Cabarita Beach is renowned for its stunning beauty and was voted as the number one beach in the Top 20 Australian Beaches of 2020 by Brad Farmer. With the club's strategic location, members can enjoy the best ocean views Cabarita Beach has to offer. The bar, open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12 pm till late, offers a range of beverages and a relaxed ambiance.
