The Cairns Motorcycle Club has been in operation for over 10 years, we are a non-profit organisation run completely by volunteers.
The club hosts races throughout the year at it's Edmonton track as well as other locations in the Far North area. Profits from these meets are used to improve the Club track at Edmonton and some of these improvements have included the purchase of a water truck, building a canteen and installing start gates.
The club is currently aiming to raise funds to have the track fully fenced and has installed irrigation to enable better riding conditions. We have also recently installed toilets on the site for greater comfort for riders and their families. The Cairns Motorcycle Club helps the community by providing a safe riding environment for its members along with the opportunity to compete with riders at regular events to improve skills and abilities.
Race days are not just for the riders, spectators are also treated to some excellent riding by both males and females from age 4 to over 40.
THE TRACK IS NOW COMPLETED RE-DEVELOPMENT WORKS.
Racers and Rec riders are welcome to come and use the track on what we call 'Practice'. Only licensed racers can ride on race days.
'Practice' is for everyone to come and use the track. If you are not a racer and just want to ride for fun, this is the time to come to the track. This is a great time for young riders to come and have a go too, you will have all the support from our Club members and other riders to learn how to get the most out of your time on the track.
We hold 'Practice' whenever we have enough of our officials available, usually on a Saturday or Sunday, sometimes we can open on a Wednesday afternoon. When the track is open for 'Practice', we advertise this via Facebook. Keep an eye on this page to see when our next 'Practice' is on. Members and non-members can come and use the track on a Practice day.
PRACTICE DAY costs are as follows:
Members track fee: $15
Non-members track fee: $25
Spectators: FREE
LICENCE

We welcome all new members to the club and the awesome sport of dirt bike riding and MX.
When you sign up for Membership you will not be charged a track fee to ride for the day.
