Charters Towers Golf Club

The Charters Towers Golf Club has a very long and proud history, having been established in 1899. The course originally consisted of sand greens, with holes being played in a clockwise direction, however, during the 1970s the course was upgraded to include grass greens and redirected to be played in an anti-clockwise direction. The club currently caters to approximately 150 playing and non-playing members and is a 9 hole/18 tee course with a quality clubhouse and range of regular competitions.
