Cheltenham Baseball Club is one of the largest baseball clubs in the country, based in Melbourne, Australia. The club caters to players of all ages and skill levels, from teeball for juniors aged under 8 to Division 1 seniors. Cheltenham is known for its inclusive and family-oriented environment.
The club participates in both the summer and winter seasons, which are organised by different committees overseen by a Board of Management. Summer, facilitated by Baseball Victoria, runs from October to March. Cheltenham fields teams in various junior divisions, including teeball, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18. They also have senior teams ranging from elite-level 1sts to a more social 4th grade team.
In addition, there is a Masters team for players over 38 and a Women's team. Most summer games are played on Sundays, with Thursday nights being the primary training night.
During winter, Cheltenham competes in the Dandenong Baseball Association, which takes place from April to September. Junior teams participate in Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 divisions, while senior teams range from A grade 1sts to lower grade teams. Winter games are predominantly held on Saturdays, with Thursday nights serving as the main training night.
