Circus WA

CircusWA is a vibrant sports club located in Perth, Western Australia. As a circus training centre, they offer a range of programmes and activities for people of all ages and abilities. Located at the Freo Big Top in the east end of Fremantle, CircusWA is dedicated to supporting youth programmes for children living with disabilities, Aboriginal youth, and aspiring young artists.

CircusWA's mission is to create a connected, inclusive, and better world where youth from all backgrounds and abilities can come together to experience collaboration and creativity. They believe in the power of circus arts to stimulate authentic exchange of ideas and friendship, while also adding a unique and essential element to Western Australia's creative and cultural landscape. The club offers a variety of training programmes that cater to different skill levels and interests. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced performer, CircusWA has something for everyone. From aerial skills, acrobatics, and juggling to clowning, physical theatre, and performance, participants have the opportunity to learn and develop their circus skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

For over 30 years, CircusWA has been at the forefront of celebrating, nurturing, and supporting distinctive artistic and cultural endeavours in the community. Since 2017, their training and development centre has found its home at the Freo Big Top, offering a unique and vibrant space for circus training and performances. Co-located with DADAA, a centre for arts and disability, CircusWA is proud to be part of a community that values inclusivity and diversity.
