How to get involved. We also offer speciality classes such as Rally-O, Tricks, and Hoopers that members can participate in. Our classes are suitable for dogs of all ages and skill levels, from companions to potential champions.

At Cloverdale Canine Companions, we prioritise positive training methods and the well-being of both dogs and their owners. Our experienced instructors are all volunteers who are passionate about helping individuals strengthen their bond with their dogs and achieve their goals in dog sports. We believe in using reward-based training techniques that foster trust and cooperation between dog and handler.

In addition to our training classes, Cloverdale Canine Companions is proud to be a social club. We believe in creating a friendly and inclusive environment where dog owners can come together and share their love of dogs. We regularly hold special events and fundraisers to celebrate our furry friends and have formed many long-term friendships within our club.

Your safety is important to us, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We kindly ask that members do not attend training if they are symptomatic or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19. If you or your dog have any transmissible illness, we request that you stay home to avoid putting others at risk.

Cloverdale Canine Companions is associated with Dogs Australia (formerly ANKC) and the Canine Association of Western Australia (DogsWest). We follow their guidelines and standards to ensure the well-being and welfare of all dogs involved in our club.

To become a member of Cloverdale Canine Companions, you can join at any time during the year. Annual memberships run from 1 November to 31 October. Membership fees are $65 for a single membership and $80 for a joint or family membership with more than one handler. New members are required to pay a one-off $5 nomination fee upon joining.

If you join between 1 August and 30 September, you will receive a discount on the annual fee. Membership forms can be found on our website, and you can bring the completed form along with your payment receipt and your dog's vaccination records to our training sessions.
