As an affiliated body with Basketball Victoria, Cobram Basketball Association follows the guidelines and recommendations set by the peak basketball organisation.

For the 2020 Autumn Season Registration, all registrations were required to be done online through the new Play HQ system. Payment was also required upon registration. This new system ensures a streamlined and efficient registration process. The registration fee of $135 includes the cost of registering with Cobram Basketball Association, insurance, and registration fees with Basketball Victoria, and the $6 weekly court fees.
By paying this fee upfront, players will no longer have to bring fees to the courts each game night, contributing to a smoother and hassle-free experience.
The association emphasises the importance of online registration, as no registration nights will be held. All registrations were required to be completed by Thursday, February 20th, allowing sufficient time to arrange teams. To ensure a smooth start to the season, a meet-your-coach and collect-your-singlet night was planned for Tuesday, February 25th, where further details would be provided.
The 2020 Autumn season was scheduled to commence on the week of March 2nd and 3rd. Competitions for Under 12, Under 14, and combined Under 16 and Under 18 were planned on Tuesday nights, with the possibility of utilising Monday nights depending on registration numbers. The teams will consist of both girls and boys, selected by the committee. A coach, team manager, and scorer will be required for each team, and the association encourages interested individuals to register for these roles.
Additionally, the Cobram Basketball Association runs an Aussie Hoops programme specifically designed for 5 to 10-year-olds, providing an excellent opportunity for young children to learn and develop fundamental basketball skills.
