About

Colac – Black Auskick is a renowned sports club based in Colac, Australia, offering the NAB AFL Auskick programme to children in the local community. As Australia's leading participation programme, NAB AFL Auskick provides an introduction to Australian Football while promoting invaluable life skills and social connexions.

The club believes in making learning a fun and immersive experience through game-based activities that disguise education as play. Children as young as five years old can join Auskick, regardless of their previous knowledge or experience with Australian Rules football. Parents are also encouraged to participate and have various options to get involved.

At Colac – Black Auskick, the experience is all about structured chaos that leads to tremendous fun. The programme aims to foster active and confident children by engaging them in exciting activities. To ensure fair play and a safe environment, Auskickers are divided into age groups, and there are optional all-girls groups available. Kids will become comfortable on the footy field while laughing, making friends, and learning along the way.

Sessions run for only one hour per week, and there is no need for expensive equipment as Auskickers can wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

In addition to the joy of forming lasting friendships and developing important life skills, NAB AFL Auskickers receive exclusive benefits. They receive a unique pack of footy goodies and an Auskick Junior Club Membership for the AFL club of their choice, which includes access to games. Furthermore, they get the incredible opportunity to play halftime at AFL and AFLW elite matches alongside their footy heroes.

The club recognises the significant role that parents play in creating a fun and inclusive environment. Families are encouraged to get involved at every stage, from coordinating activities to offering support and encouragement. The local Auskick coordinator can provide more information on how parents can contribute to the programme.

Colac – Black Auskick also offers Team NAB AFL Auskick, which allows registered Auskickers to compete for a chance to join the best Auskick team of all time. The winners of this competition receive a Grand Final Week experience, the opportunity to present a medal to their footy heroes at the Grand Final, and $5,000 spending money for the team captain.

To join Colac – Black Auskick and experience the excitement of NAB AFL Auskick, interested individuals can register on their website. The club invites everyone to become part of the Auskick community and enjoy the benefits of this dynamic and inclusive programme.
