Coogee Croquet Club

Our club was started in the late forties by a group of enthusiasts gathering in a backyard tennis court in Coogee (in keeping with a fine tradition – Wimbledon is played at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The clubhouse was officially established in 1950 in its present location in a leafy corner of Bardon Park in Bream Street, Coogee.

In the more than sixty years since the club has been operating, the clubhouse and our two lawns have been upgraded several times. Early in 2012, with generous assistance from Randwick Council, we were able to complete an extensive refit of the clubhouse and refurbishment of No. 1 lawn.

We have an enthusiastic membership of Croquet players with a range of handicaps in both Association Croquet and Golf Croquet. (See About Croquet).
