Children aged 5 to 13 can participate in a range of activities designed to teach them valuable skills such as surf awareness, surf safety, and basic first aid. Nippers activities take place on Sunday mornings from 8am to 10am, and there is no obligation to join. The programme not only teaches important lifesaving skills but also encourages children to stay fit, make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful summer sun.
In addition to the Nippers programme, Coolangatta SLSC is also actively involved in surf sports. Surf sports include a variety of competitions and events such as ocean swimming, surf boats, board and ski carnivals.
