Nippers activities take place on Sunday mornings from 8am to 10am, and there is no obligation to join. The programme not only teaches important lifesaving skills but also encourages children to stay fit, make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful summer sun.

In addition to the Nippers programme, Coolangatta SLSC is also actively involved in surf sports. Surf sports include a variety of competitions and events such as ocean swimming, surf boats, board and ski carnivals. The club is part of Surf Life Saving Australia and is one of over 280 surf clubs across the country. Its members are among the 80,000 surf lifesavers who volunteer their time to protect beachgoers and perform an average of 10,000 rescues each year.
