
Corio Athletics Club is a sports club located in Geelong, Australia. Situated at the Goldsworthy Rd. Athletics Track in Corio, the club caters to athletes of all ages and abilities, starting from U/14 through to Masters. One of the unique aspects of Corio Athletics Club is its emphasis on being a family-oriented club, with strong connexions to the Corio Little Athletics Centre, which is also based at the track.
Coaching is available at the track on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September onwards. During Summer, Corio competes in the Geelong Region Shield Competition at Landy Field in South Geelong.
In Winter, athletes from Corio are involved in Cross Country and Race Walking events, which are held locally as well as in Melbourne.
Corio Athletics Club is proud to have produced talented athletes, such as Damien Birkenhead, who was selected to represent Australia in the World Youth Athletics team that competed in Italy in July 2009.
