Corio Community Sports Club

Corio Community Sports Club Inc. , formerly known as Corio Football and Netball Club, is a leading sports club in Geelong. Established in 1974, the club actively participates in the Geelong & District Football Netball League (GDFNL) and AFL Barwon Junior competitions.

Driven by a strong commitment to the community, Corio Community Sports Club aims to engage local individuals of all ages, abilities, and cultures in volunteering roles. By doing so, the club enhances confidence, fosters community connexions, and builds on the strengths of the community.

With teams in Australian Rules Football and Netball, Corio Community Sports Club offers opportunities for players of all levels. From juniors to seniors, the club has junior football teams ranging from Under-9 to Under-19, as well as Reserve and Senior teams. Netball teams include junior divisions (Under-13 to Under-17) and Senior A, B, C, and D teams. The club also hosts an NAB AFL Auskick and Net Set Go programme for boys and girls aged 5 to 12.

The club's official colours are red and white, and its home ground is VIVA Energy Oval Shell Reserve, located on Purnell Road in Corio.

Corio Community Sports Club takes pride in being a “Good Sports Club” accredited under the Australian Drug Foundations' “Good Sports” programme. This demonstrates the club's commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all members.
