Cremorne Bowls Club

The Cremorne Bowls and Community Club, located in the heart of Cremorne, is a popular sports club within the Clarence City Council area. Just a short twenty-minute drive from the Hobart CBD, the Club offers fantastic facilities for both members and visitors.

The Club's main focus is on lawn bowls, with teams competing in various championships and competitions. They have a Saturday mixed gender Pennant Bowls team, a men's team competing on Wednesdays, and a women's team playing on Thursdays.

For those looking for a more relaxed and social atmosphere, the Club also offers barefoot bowls on Thursday evenings during daylight savings. This is a popular activity, perfect for those wanting to try out the sport in a fun and casual setting.

During the winter months, the Club hosts indoor bowls on Wednesday nights from May to September. This provides an opportunity for members to continue playing bowls even when the weather is less favourable.

In addition to bowls, the Club serves as a central hub for the community, hosting regular private and community functions. They are known for their highly successful pop-up food vans, offering a variety of delicious options. Pete's Fish & Chips is also available at the Club, providing a tasty dining option for members and visitors.

The Cremorne Bowls and Community Club is affiliated with Bowls Tasmania South, and their Women's Division 2 team recently achieved success by winning the 2022/23 Grand Final.
