Cross country running is a type of sport that is usually conducted during winter and Autumn but can include weather conditions such as rain, snow, sleet, or hail. In this sport, teams and individuals compete against each other. They run in open-air over natural terrains, this includes grass, land, through woods, open country, gravel, flat ground, and hills. Men and women across all ages participate in this event.
