About

Welcome to Currambine Netball Club! Currambine Netball Club (CNC) has a rich history, with roots dating back to 2005 when we were known as Currambine Primary School Netball Club. Since then, our membership has expanded to include not only students from Currambine Primary School but also players from other schools and the wider community. We cater to players of all ages, from Set (7/8 years) to the Open Division.

At Currambine Netball Club, we believe in the power of inclusion and diversity. Netball is a sport that welcomes individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and genders. Our club values reflect this commitment to providing an inclusive environment for every player. We are proud of our players, coaches, and umpires who have represented Joondalup Netball Association and even gone on to participate in high-level netball competitions such as the Fuel to Go & Play Association Championships and State league teams.

We offer regular training sessions on Thursdays, with junior games taking place on Saturday mornings and 15U through to Opens divisions playing on Mondays. Mixed divisions are scheduled for Tuesday nights, although this may be subject to change. Our training sessions are held at Falklands Park in Kinross, and our games are played on the outdoor courts at the HBF Joondalup Arena sporting complex.

As a member of the Joondalup Netball Association, we are part of a larger network of clubs that share our passion for netball. We also participate in the Suncorp NetSetGO programme, which is Netball Australia's junior entry netball programme for children aged 5 to 10 years. This programme provides a positive introduction to netball through skill activities, minor games, music, dance, and modified matches.

When it comes to uniforms, our players proudly wear navy, royal, and white dresses or singlets with a touch of red, paired with navy briefs. We also have a grading system in place starting from the year a child turns 12, ensuring that players are matched with appropriate competition levels as they progress through the club.

We welcome new players with open arms and strive to offer development opportunities for everyone involved, including players, coaches, and umpires. Our dedicated committee members, coaches, and managers work tirelessly to support our players and ensure they have a positive experience at Currambine Netball Club.
