About

Dalby Croquet Club was founded in 1936 when the Dalby Town Council leased the present site to the club and provided the club rooms. Prior to 1936 croquet was played in the backyard of one of the members at the time.

The club is adjacent to the Myall Creek and over the years the club has had to content with damage by floods to the lawns and club room.

In the flood of 1981 all past records were lost. The club received a grant from the Qld Government Sport & Recreation Flood Fightback Plan, which enabled us to repair and replace fencing and floor coverings damaged in the floods of January 2011.

Association croquet is preferred by our members and social as well as competition matches are played. We are looking to include Golf Croquet in our programme.

We are a very harmonious group and would warmly welcome visitors in our programme.

Please call should you be in the area.
