Dancers Academy Of Ingham

The Dancers' Academy of Ingham has been teaching students in the Hinchinbrook Region for more than twenty-five years.

Classes are run for all age groups from Mini Movers aged 18 months to the Active Senior.

Different styles of dance are taught including Ballet, Modern/Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Dance Extension, Hip Hop, Song & Dance, Highland + Fusion Movement (stretch & strengthening). A new class for 18 years + has been added on Tuesday afternoon come and learn Burlesque.

The goal of the school is to impart dancing skills and knowledge to the student while having fun, gaining fitness and learning to move in a safe environment. Classes are held at the Herbert River District Band Centre which provides a large timber (sprung) dance floor .

Dancing is not only fun for students it is also provides good exercise and discipline. Within the timetable we cover classes for the those wishing to complete examinations or competition work plus classes for those who wish to attend at a more casual level, ie. the once a week student.
