Welcome to Dancexcel Performance Studios, a well-established dance studio located in Balgowlah on Sydney's Northern Beaches. With a strong emphasis on nurturing the passion for dance, Dancexcel offers a unique environment for students to develop their skills, confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline, and teamwork.

At Dancexcel, every student is valued, and our goal is to create a safe and encouraging environment where they can reach their full potential. We have recently relocated to exciting new premises, creating a strong sense of community and becoming a centre for the performing arts in the local area.

Our classes cater to children aged from 3 years to young adults, offering a wide range of dance styles from Tiny Tots and Pre-Dance to Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern/Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Tumbling, and Performance. Class sizes are limited to ensure personalised attention, and all our teachers are highly professional, skilled, and experienced in working with children and teenagers.

Tiny Tots is a creative dance programme designed for children aged 3 to 5 years, introducing them to dance, rhythm, and movement while building their self-esteem and confidence in a nurturing environment. For older students, we offer a variety of dance styles, including Jazz, a current and upbeat style with a strong technical foundation, and Hip Hop, a street style of dance that allows for free and funky expression.

For those interested in classical dance, we offer Classical (RAD) classes that focus on elegance, grace, and the development of vital strength and technique. Lyrical is a combination of free-flowing movement and classical technique, similar to the expressive style seen in the Sydney Dance Company. Musical Theatre is a specialised class that combines jazz dance with elements of musical theatre.

Additionally, we offer Performance classes by invitation, which focus on choreography and performance for students participating in showcases and eisteddfods. These classes are offered in various styles, including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Performance group students are also required to take Technique, Industry, and Stretch and Conditioning as part of their programme.
