Dandenong Little Athletics Centre

Welcome to Dandenong Little Athletics Centre (DLAC), a sports club located in Melbourne that offers exciting and engaging athletics programmes for children. DLAC operates from the first Saturday in October to the last Saturday in March, with competitions taking place every Saturday morning starting at 8:30 am.

DLAC welcomes new athletes who are interested in experiencing the world of Little Athletics. New athletes have the opportunity to participate in a two-week trial period to get a taste of what Little Athletics is all about before officially joining. As part of DLAC, athletes can choose from three clubs: Doveton-Endeavour Hills, Hampton Park, and Narre Warren. Each club has its unique features and information can be found on the Club Information page.

To participate in DLAC's programmes, there is a fee of $165-00 per athlete for the Season 2023/24. All athletes, both new and returning, are required to register online. When registering, ensure to select Dandenong LAC as the Centre and then decide the preferred club.

DLAC keeps its members updated through various news updates and important information. All of these updates can be found on the DLAC website. Additionally, DLAC utilises the Team App, a free mobile application that allows direct communication with its subscribed members. By subscribing to DLAC on the Team App, members receive instant updates regarding DLAC-related news and events, ensuring they are always up-to-date.

The DLAC Executive Committee plays a vital role in the management of the centre. Members of the Executive Committee include President David Daff, Secretary Narelle Foote, Treasurer Peter Craig, Registrar Greg Farley, Education Officer Kathy Wilson, and Track & Field Coordinator Peter Craig. The committee is always open to expressions of interest from members to fill any vacant positions.

DLAC offers a variety of events and opportunities throughout the season. Open Days are held at various centres and all athletes are welcome to participate. DLAC also provides instructional videos on athletic events through its YouTube channel, allowing athletes to enhance their skills and knowledge.
