Welcome to Darwin Runners & Walkers Inc. , a vibrant sports club located in Darwin, Australia. With a focus on promoting health and fitness through running and walking, we offer a range of activities and events for our members.

One of our notable events is the Mother's Day Classic, which takes place at 7:00 AM on Sunday 14 May at the Darwin Waterfront Peninsula Lawns. This event is a great opportunity for individuals and families to participate in a fun run while supporting a worthy cause.

To keep our members informed and engaged, we provide a downloadable calendar for the 2023-2024 season on our website. This calendar includes information on various club runs and events, ensuring that our members have all the necessary details.

During the dry season, our runs start at 6:00 pm, providing a convenient time for our members to participate after work. In the wet season, our runs begin slightly later at 6:15 pm due to changing weather conditions. The wet season typically kicks off on 28 September and continues until the start of the dry season.

We are proud to partner with InterSport, offering our members a 10% discount and a 5% rebate on purchases. Further details can be found on our Facebook page, where we regularly update our members on special offers and promotions.

Membership fees for the 2023 season are as follows: new single membership is $70, which includes a tag; renewal for single membership is $60. For families, new membership is priced at $140, including tags, and renewal is $120. Additionally, we offer a new U14 single membership for $50, including a tag, with a renewal fee of $40.

Did you know that some of our club members also run on Saturday mornings? Departing from the Parap Bakery at 6 am sharp, these runs are open to everyone, and participants can choose the distance they wish to run, typically ranging from 10 to 13 kilometres.
