Deaf Advocacy, Sports & Recreation ACT

We are a group of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people who lobby for and promote Advocacy, Sport, and Recreation activities in ACT and surrounding areas.

Our mission is to; support Advocacy, Sports, and Recreation groups for Deaf and Hard of Hearing community of the ACT and surrounding NSW areas, to promote the recognition and acceptance of methods of communication preferred by Deaf people, to foster pride in the Deaf community, its language and culture, to promote Deaf sport, recreational and social activities for Deaf people.
