Queensland Diving Association was affiliated with Queensland Swimming up until the late 1960s. It was then that they formed their own Association to be named Queensland Diving Association. Following this time QDA became incorporated as Queensland Diving Association inc.
Re-branding itself as Diving Queensland, has given the organisation a make-over in terms of modernising its 'look', and showing itself off as a more dynamic State Sporting Organisation.
