The Donnybrook Football & Sporting Club (Inc) is a non-profit incorporated organisation in the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup, offering social and sporting activities to the community and supporters from further afield. The Donnybrook Football Club (DFC) has a rich history dating back to 1897 and continues to thrive, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and supporters.
As the largest community group in the Donnybrook/Balingup Shire, we are proud to cater to approximately 250 Juniors and Auskickers, as well as 100 Senior players. To ensure the best experience for our members, we have a dedicated team of 30-40 active volunteers who contribute their time and effort to providing sporting activities in the community. We strongly believe in supporting local businesses and involve them in the management of our club.
Our club is situated at VC Mitchell Park, which is a major hub of outdoor activity in Donnybrook. The park houses a variety of competitive and social sporting fixtures, including both junior and senior football games. In addition, it is home to the local tennis club. VC Mitchell Park boasts a semi floodlit and reticulated oval measuring 210m × 185m, complete with a spectator gallery.
We also have a fully licenced clubhouse with toilets, showers, and change room facilities available. The clubhouse and kitchen are also available for hire for private functions.
